Why do some of my SKUs start with "PIQ"?

Not all vendors provide item numbers. When this happens, Ottimate uses the internal item’s ID for the item along with the "PIQ" prefix to indicate the SKU was auto-generated.


Who can edit items?

Any user role that includes “Edit Invoice Items” can edit line items. 


Why do only some of my invoices show "Line Item Highlights" on the invoice image?

There are a couple situations where "Line Item Highlight" data is not collected on an invoice:

- AP Lite Invoices 

- Manual Splits

- EDI invoices

- Digital PDF invoices

- HTML invoices


How can I edit the item’s price and/or quantity? 

If the Unit Price for some Items is not included or cut out from the scan, your Invoice will remain in your Needs Attention tab after processing. To correct, simply click on the field you want to edit and enter the details needed.


Missing Tax Information for Some Items

If the vendor does not indicate which items are taxed on your invoice, the invoice will be classified as INCOMPLETE by the Ottimate team. To correct, simply click on the Taxed bar for all items that apply.


Why are some items shown as uncategorized?

Sometimes it is difficult for the Ottimate system to tell what the delivered item is; because of this, the item is left uncategorized until this is updated manually. You can easily check your uncategorized items by clicking on "Uncategorized Items" in the pie chart of the Cost Analysis report. Your items will be shown under the chart.
